Jennette Siebens, M.A., L.C.P.C.
Ms. Siebens earned her MA degree in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2006, where her clinical practicum at the Counseling and Student Development Center involved conducting individual therapy sessions and crisis intervention for college students. Previously she received a BA in Psychology from Whitworth College in Spokane, WA, where her internship at Beverly Health & Rehabilitation Center involved performing daily assessments of patients’ needs and making appropriate recommendations for mood, behavioral, and psychological needs.

Ms. Siebens specializes in providing couples and family therapy as well as working with adolescents in individual therapy. She is especially interested in helping families figure out how to improve their lives together by developing and/or strengthening their communication and listening skills. She has gained extensive experience working with these populations through her employment as a Functional Family Therapist with the Juvenile Probation Department in DuPage County since 2008. In this capacity, she provides “in-home” therapy for families having an adolescent involved in the criminal justice system. She also provides coaching in parenting for adults with difficult adolescents and training in communication skills for other various client groups. Prior to this, Ms. Siebens was an Adult Probation Officer for DuPage County.

Ms. Siebens is a member of Illinois Mental Health Counselors Association and the Illinois Counseling Association. She will be working part-time at Educational and Psychological Services beginning in August 2011. Appointments can be scheduled with her on Thursday evenings and/or Saturday mornings.
